Scoring & Running Order
-
Points are awarded for wins on blue and red runs, handicap percentage versus the pacesetter, and improvement from the previous week.
-
The handicap system levels the field based on age, gender, and pacesetter time.
-
The top three racers’ points from each team count toward weekly standings and Finals eligibility.
-
Weekly running order is based on prior results (best teams run first). Week 1 order is random.
-
Racers who DNF or miss a week run according to their previous finish; missed runs go last in that round.
Race Night Rules
-
Safety: No pre-running or post-running the course (disqualification applies). Side-slipping is encouraged- look uphill and clear for racers calling “COURSE!”
-
Finish Line: Only active racers may cross during competition.
-
Have Fun: Race hard, cheer loud, and enjoy après-ski at the Outlook Restaurant after each event.
